There are so many great artists of wire wrap jewelry and it’s hard to pick a favorite. I started some classic wire wrap technique years ago too. This soft, store bought wire did not satisfy me, I studied further, … Until I tested some recycled industrial aluminum wire.

That’s it.
And when everyone says it’s impossible, it’s unusual, strange. Ooooo, yes,….that’s exactly what I want. The perfect challenge!

Now I’m in love with my materials, found my very own wire. The right one for me. 😉 It starts at 2, 3, 4 or 5 mm thickness, that is 8, 7, 6, 5-gauge and more, even more….

MY WRAPPED WIRE AND COILS ARE MINIMIZED
The hardest thing is to do less. That’s what I’m looking for. Tiny, simple, elegant, yet hand-worked style that feels raw. And I want to minimize this classic thread, coil, spiral. Sometimes it works out perfectly, sometimes less so. The only important thing is that we like it in the end.
